Position: Preschool Teacher

At BVCA Since: 1992

Education: Lead Teacher Preschool Certification, Holyoke Community College.

Church: First Baptist Church, East Longmeadow

Personal Testimony: I was saved at 6 years old. I have since taught Sunday School, been involved in choir, and volunteered as church organist.

Favorite Verse: Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct thy paths. (Proverbs 3:5-6)

Family: I live with my husband, Bob, our son, Michael (a BVCA graduate), our daughter, Sarah ( a current BVCA student), our cat, Snickers, our dog, Riley, and our bunny, Cottontail.

Hobbies: Traveling, motorcycle riding, and spending time with my family.

Teaching Objectives: To share with our preschoolers God’s love and care through Bible stories and scripture memorization. To teach phonic sounds, counting skills, and number and letter recognition in a fun and nurturing environment. To encourage our students’ budding independence and socialization skills.
